Mumbai, Maharashtra: On the Supreme Court directing Delhi-NCR authorities to curb rising rabies deaths by removing stray dogs from the streets, founder of Pawfriend Akshay Ridlan says, "I would like to thank our democracy. Instead of Supreme Court's order, we have a right to speak to the public. We can reach out to the government. And we have a lot of faith in our judiciary that our case will be heard. In a landmark initiative to safeguard the welfare of India’s sacred cows, Ridlan AI Foundation has introduced the AI-enabled Gau Raksha Kavach, This initiative comes in the wake of the devastating lumpy skin disease outbreak that affected 20 million cows and claimed 2 million lives over the last two years.

The 'Gau Raksha Kavach' leverages artificial intelligence to send timely alerts and reminder emails to caretakers, ensuring vaccinations and deworming schedules are followed meticulously to prevent diseases.

Locket turns 'key' to reunion

Colaba Mobile Van 01 received a msg from the main control room that a 12-year-old mentally disturbed boy was roaming alone at Dr. Mukherjee Chowk, Colaba.

Although he was unable to speak, the officials found a locket in his neck during the inquiry. The officials broke the locked locket, found a QR code. Upon scanning they found details of an NGO.

Following the instructions of the NGO team, the officials got the residential and family details of the kid. The parents were called to the Colaba Pstn and were reunited with him after inquiry.
