A line from The Odyssey that hits hard:
“What you most want is what you most can’t have. And what you most can’t have is what you already had, and lost.”
All your problems are your own fault.
Your lack of discipline. Your lack of confidence. Your lack of responsibility. Your lack of ability to make decisions.
Stop complaining. Change now.

One of my ex manager had a kid 15yrs ago. He and his wife had a successful running company.
I loved their parenting style:
> gave him choices for music instruments. At 5, he was able to play basic ukala.
> every weekend , while he was growing his dad used to ask him - where he wants to have bfast? Ask him to search the place, make a map on paper , and ask him to guide his dad to that place. At first attempt, he took 30 mins to reach the place but with time he improved.
> he picked piano and by 10 he did a performance at his dad’s company.
> he started playing chess, doing maths, reading classic literature, IoT fun projects.
> only a yr ago he defeated his dad in the chess and he was super happy.
> most of the classical literature books he has already read and discussed over bfast with his dad. Now, he get new books recommendations from his teachers
> won many national maths competitions.
> loves to go on hikes , travel around the world and have fun.
> did IoT gun projects for his home, learned python.
How i know all this? His dad document everything on his fb.
I appreciate how active parenting he is doing and building/frosting real skills that kid will need throughout his life.
My mom needed surgery, and our U.S. options were around $45,000. We were actually looking at South Korea before my doctor friend recommended India. We came here and paid about $4,500 at a top hospital, including the stay. The quality of care was honestly amazing. If India can fix the travel, logistics, and safety side of medical tourism, the opportunity is massive.
