I realized why other fandoms find it weird that #ARMY feels so "entitled" to what is going on in #HYBE. 1st, we aren't entitled, we are opinionated, outspoken and driven. These helped us achieve so much for #BTS, from MAMA to Billboard to AMA to UN to Wembley.

2nd, it's our money that Bang Sihyuk used to create HYBE. Yes, there are investors and banks but for them to get funding and loans, they had to show cashflow and success of their business model. That goes back to BTS' talent, hard work, intelligence, skill & ARMY's money.

3rd, BigHit never fails to acknowledge that BTS is what made HYBE possible and BTS never fails to acknowledge that ARMY made the success of BTS possible. It's a symbiotic relationship. They give us quality art, we pay for it. We pay a lot and often because they produce a lot and it keeps on getting better. It's a fair trade.

4th, they act, not just speak, their gratitude. They "sell" a lot of things but they also give a lot of things for free. It is those moments of "going beyond the call of duty" that make us realize they are grateful and we appreciate the gratitude. From free songs to a free concert to paying for an entire venue so ARMY can party while they are in the military, they do what they can. Do they give everything for free? No and we do not expect them to. It is still a business after all. Contrary to belief, we are very much in touch with that reality.

5th, BTS & Bit Hit listen to the requests of ARMY. Example: Jhope didn't want to release physical CD but because he saw how upset ARMY was, he decided to do it.

6th, the fandom takes after the band. BTS knows their worth and ARMY knows its worth.

Are there bad apples in the fandom? Sure. Every group or organization has that. There are those who feel like they own BTS or BigHit or Hybe. There are those who are delusional and think they will marry one of the members. There are those who aren't happy that BTS is on top, they want everyone else to be nothing. But every fandom has that.

But there are also those who don't really care about much but BTS' music and other art and will be the first ones to make an effort to protect the personal lives of BTS members, and there are those who also support other groups or acts.

One thing is for sure, it's one of the biggest fandoms in the world. Everything ARMY does is magnified. Love them or hate them. it will also remain to be one of the most badass and kickass set of people you will ever meet in your life.

ARMY outsmarted decades old faulty chart system in the US and outworked all the suits in Hollywood put together. A group with no US label started wacking everyone in international charts. A group with one english speaking member started outselling more established acts in the world. The only backing is ARMY.

So, if ARMYs are opinionated and, at times, cocky, it is because they earned that swag.
