🔓 Unshield to any address.

Withdrawals used to land in your own wallet. Now you pick: paste any Substrate (SS58) or EVM address.

The proof always treated the recipient as a public input, the interface was the part that assumed it was you. Shield from EVM, withdraw to Substrate. Or the reverse.

Note: the destination is public on-chain. The pool keeps your history private, the exit is visible. A fresh address keeps it that way.

⚡ Three extra on-chain quests

Shield, private transfer, and unshield now each have an optional counterpart, 15 credits, 3 per week, once per day.

They don't touch your streak, so missing one costs nothing. Each needs its own transaction.

Week one set the bar. Week two blew past it:

The network didn't just keep running. It accelerated. More than half of everything on-chain happened in the last seven days alone.

📈 And that growth forced our hand, in the best way possible.

We didn't expect to fill the shielded pool this fast. At this pace, the current Merkle tree would hit its capacity ceiling far sooner than planned. So we're getting ahead of it: Orbinum is upgrading its privacy layer to a multi-tree forest. When a tree fills up, a new one opens. No caps, no limits, no ceiling on privacy. The pool scales as fast as you do.

🔍 The hardest problem in private money: finding your own notes.

In a shielded pool, no one can see which notes are yours, not even the network. Privacy by design. But it cuts both ways: your wallet can't just ask "which notes are mine?" without revealing exactly what privacy is supposed to hide.

So every wallet has to try-decrypt the entire pool. Every note, one by one. It's the scan problem, and every privacy chain has fought it: Monero shipped view tags, Zcash built compact blocks. Years of open research that we get to stand on, and push further.

Today we published Orbinum SDK 0.16.0, a major upgrade to note scanning:

🔹 View tags → a 1-byte filter skips 99.6% of foreign notes without decrypting
🔹 Self-note discovery → your own notes (shields, change) are recognized with zero trial decryption, a step we haven't seen any chain ship before
🔹 17× faster curve math on the scanning hot path
