But the bigger issue is the gap between the 1st and 4th quintiles

The average income of the bottom 20% of households is $15k

The average of the 60-80% quintile is $110k

That is the gap breaking the social contract and creating the anger

Is anyone having a nightmare with Verizon getting a new phone especially with a trade in deal?

I ordered a phone 5 wks ago that hasn’t shipped

But they are charging me on my bill and have started bugging me to send back my trade in

Now found 2 other peeps with similar issues

The cluster duck gets even worse

They have applied the $1400 cost for the new phone to my long since paid off iPhone 11

3+ weeks of online support tickets and hours of phone calls and nothing has changed in 15 days

And the trade in order now shows 1/10 the original trade in $

I see right wing friends (somewhat rightly) say that Arab countries have kept the Palestinian issue as an open wound of grievance when they could have fixed it by giving citizenship to them

Then they do the same with the dreamers and hard working undocumented immigrants
