I’ve been holding onto this secret since March…..

Every year since 2004, my pops and I travel to San Antonio for the Texas high school basketball championships.

It takes place at the Alamodome, where the Knicks lost Games 1 and 2 in the 1999 Finals, and ultimately, the series.

I was there covering the high school state tournament as media, so I had VIP access to the entire stadium.

I walked the locker rooms, back rooms and most important, the entire arena, with sage to cleanse the failures of 1999 for what I predicted then, would be a Spurs/Knicks rematch in this season’s Finals.

Have no fear, Beloved. We are cleansed. Let’s get this chip.

I wrote about how the Odyssey and the Knicks are the same story. And what it would mean for the Knicks to end their 53-year exile.

Think about it: Madison Square Garden is Ithaca. Jalen Brunson is Odysseus. The villainous suitors were Isiah Thomas, Phil Jackson, Scott Layden, and even James Dolan.
