Call it a millennial crisis if you want.
But in my 30's, I realized l don't actually want the life I worked so hard for. I don't care about titles. I don't care about climbing anyone else's ladder. I care about time. I care about slow mornings. I care about peace. I care about bare feet at the beach with nowhere to be. I still want to make money.. just not at the cost of my life.
it is an unwritten rule of life that after every prolonged period of hardship and uncertainty, there is going to be a period when you are going to achieve quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life. the only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself
I've actually tasted trying to fix people, and I've tasted forcing the truth down their throats. I highly recommend not caring more about people's lives than they do. No one is your assignment.
Not even the ones you love.
If you see people virtue signaling it’s because the virtue being signaled does not exist. “I am a kind person” fuck you. If you are kind you don’t need to spell it out, people go know. Fuck you again.
All of us are selective sinners. We choose the sins we are comfortable with and judge others for the ones we are not.
You lie, but judge the cheater.
You cheat, but judge the thief.
You steal, but judge the addict.
Everyone draws their own line and pretends they're standing on the right side of it. We all have things we quietly allow ourselves to do. Habits we excuse, choices we justify, flaws we've decided, are acceptable because they're ours.
But the moment someone else does something that crosses our personal line, suddenly we're moral authorities.
We point fingers at sins that make us uncomfortable while ignoring the ones we commit daily. We call others unforgivable while asking forgiveness for ourselves. The truth is, we're all standing in the same place just with different mistakes, different excuses, different blind spots.
Before you judge someone else's choices, remember, someone out there is judging yours just as hard.
One of the most brutal scenes in human history has been leaked.
An Israeli soldier filmed this clip using a drone camera while proudly boasting about the destruction of all homes in Gaza.
A moment the world must never forget.
If I'm being honest, half the things I went through are in fact because of me, my lack of discipline, not listening to my gut feelings, and my poor decision-making.
