We will see how it goes. As I said before, he’s the Orlando Magic head coach now and I will support him 100%. He simply was not my first choice and that’s totally fine.

I will have to trust the front office with whomever they decide to hire, but it if it was up to me, I wouldn’t want another rookie head coach.

I think this team needs a veteran coach who demands respect and accountability from day one. We need to level up.

The Orlando Magic’s interest in Spurs associate head coach Sean Sweeney is reportedly “more serious than previously known,” according to league sources.

Orlando reportedly planned to meet with Sweeney in San Antonio during the Western Conference Finals while he remains on the Spurs’ playoff staff.

Sweeney is widely viewed as one of the top defensive minds in the NBA and currently serves as Mitch Johnson’s associate head coach in San Antonio.

Billy Donovan and Jeff Van Gundy remain the other known candidates to interview for the vacancy following the dismissal of Jamahl Mosley on May 4.
