@HMHNewJersey
When all was said and done, Ocean Medical Center did a great job and were able to successfully normalize my blood pressure, thus eliminating the severe headache with tunnel vision. I had a true hypertensive emergency and they managed and treated it like true professionals.
The entire staff, including doctors, nurses, PAs, admin staff, patient advocacy, technicians, et al, all did excellent work and I am forever grateful. They headed off what could have been a stroke, a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm, and significant cardiac issues.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the great team at OMC!!
@HMHNewJersey
Still in the ER waiting room with a hypertensive emergency, severe headache, tight chest. These people don’t know how to triage. 2 hour wait so far.
@AZ_Brittney Actually it was Donald Trump who successfully created and executed the project to speed development of the vaccine. Fauci had very little to do with it.

@Sennheiser
I bought an expensive Sennheiser traditional headphone set, the Momentum 4.
This thing sounds GREAT, with very clear highs& mid-range and a bass that you can actually “feel”.
So in terms of music and sound quality, this set does a FANTASTIC job.
It’s also a very decent headphone for voice, conference calls, video meetings, and basic podcasting.
That said, the Momentum 4 is a nightmare.
If you even just slightly touch it, it will execute a command, like stopping the playback source. It will also turn itself on if you have Bluetooth turned on on your paired device. For example, I was in the queue for my Telemed session with my doctor. The doctor suddenly joined the session but I couldn’t hear him. My doctor waited patiently but then he decided that he had to move on. Luckily before my doctor dropped me, I turned Bluetooth off on my phone and then I was able to hear the doctor and he could hear me, saving our session.
There have been so many operational issues even by simply turning your head or inadvertently lifting a cup to scratch your ear.
So as great as the sound is, the unintended operational issues truly detract from the greatness of the sound.
Any suggestions for improving the operational experience?
I hope you do.
The staff doesn’t mean any harm of course, but shouting from your office chair, which is some distance away from the patient waiting area, separated by a patient-to-office staff portal, can get fairly loud and in some way disrespects both the patient and other patients waiting.
I believe an accepted office best practice is to have one or two of the staff walk out to the patient waiting area and then ask for the patient using only a slightly elevated voice in terms of volume.
My intent is not to punish the staff. I just think a few minor adjustments will make a huge difference in terms of patient perception of office professionalism.
Cheers.
@Labcorp
I came into my Lab Corp appointment at 35 Beaverton Blvd, Suite 10, Brick, NJ 08723.
The first thing I encountered was a “Check-in” screen with a list of languages to select as a personal preference.
Well, my language, Italian wasn’t listed but many other languages were, many that are “MUCH LESS USED BY FAR” than Italian. This is New Jersey, where Italian is common.
I am actually using Google Translate (Italian to English) to write on X because I am more comfortable with Italian BY FAR.
Next, in this office the workers don’t get out of their chairs to respectfully greet you in the waiting area; they simply shout out your name for all to hear and expect you to come dutifully over to them like a pet.
Very disappointed with the way this office is run.
My issues have still not been resolved. How long does it take to investigate a request for reimbursement for eye glass frames?
The initial request for reimbursement was made on June 26.
In early July UHC sent a letter stating that they could not find my MemberID (I’ve been a member since 2024). Then they sent a 2nd letter dated July 10 which said that “No receipt/invoice” was provided when in fact the log record shows that everything was provided, including Reimbursement Request Form and Eyeglass Vendor Invoice. The 2nd letter states that both are missing; in FACT both were submitted according to the electronic logs.
UHC is ruining their business with AI. They are using it for Tier1 Customer Service, at which it fails miserably, and now they are apparently using it for back-office processing, at which it is again failing miserably.
Aside from the measly $150.00 reimbursement for eyeglass frames, apparently you now have to go thru AI hell just to get a reimbursement.
Shame on AT&T and UHC. After almost 40 years of dedicated service, they kick you to the curb and could care less about your eye health.
@UHC@ATT
The UHC-AT&T retirement medical benefits are a SCAM.
Retirees are entitled to $150.00 reimbursement for eye glasses (frames) as long as you provide an itemized receipt and your UHC member ID.
I submitted a claim on a $399.00 eye glass frames, with fully itemized statement and a fully itemized receipt. I provided my health plan ID.
The claim was fully itemized with the correct member ID.
UHC rejected the claim with 2 separate letters (1) Invalid member ID (2) Failed to submit itemized receipt.
In fact, I submitted the correct member ID and a fully itemized receipt.
Now I have to do it again?
When I call UHC their “systems” do not show what the problems are.
Folks, this IS the definition of insanity.
Both UHC and AT&T “TRULY ABUSIVE”.
@OpenAI @ChatGPTapp
I have been using ChatGPT to help me generate PowerPoint presentations, tge most recent of which was for an AI conference in Geneva (“AI for Good” conference).
I have a deadline on another presentation and now suddenly ChatGPT is refusing to cooperate. There is no rhyme or reason for this, but it has definitely lost its way since the last time I asked it for help for the Geneva conference.
I’ve spent all morning just trying to get a simple draft, and it does not want to cooperate. This is one of many pushbacks I am getting:
“I want to. But I can’t honestly do what you’re asking with the capabilities available in this chat.
You’ve repeatedly asked me to generate the actual PowerPoint, and what I can generate here is not meeting the standard you expect. I won’t pretend otherwise or fabricate a result.
Rather than waste more of your time with another inadequate deck, I have to be honest: I can’t produce the Geneva-quality presentation you’re asking for in this conversation.”
What a horrible waste of time. I’ve decided to use our own product here at AdaptNet AI Labs, called AdaptOne (HLM). AdaptOne implements a “Human Learning Model (HLM)”, which enables learning as humans learn but exponentially faster. A human may require 17 years of pre-college learning, 4 years of college, 2 years for graduate work, and then several more years in an internship, etc., but AdaptOne (HLM) becomes an expert in most fields, such as networking or medicine, in 6 months or less.
So we happen to have an AdaptOne (HLM) instance that has become a technical writing expert within 4 months. So I’m now going to use this guy to help me with my new presentation.
It’s this kind of inconsistency with ChatGPT that will cause most professionals to abandon it over a relatively short time interval.
Disastrous experience.
It “IS” extremely lazy.
“Show us the aliens” is short for:
“We are debunkers at all costs; we use ‘It could be’ or ‘It might be’ arguments, which frees us from having to provide supporting data.”
In other words, debunkers actually DO the very things that they accuse UAP/NHI claimants of doing, which is to express hypothesis (e.g. “It could be XXX” or “It might be YYY”), without having to provide data in support of XXX or YYY.
@gregkellyusa@77WABCradio
Over time it has become clear to me and others that you have a grudge against the military within which you served.
What happened to you in the military, Greg? Some form of unwarranted disciplinary action?
After careful review of the jet flyby on the beach, not a single person was exposed to a life threatening situation, including beachgoers and the pilots.
You are purposefully creating a situation out of a non-starter. Many of us with actual experience in those types of jets fully understand the capabilities, limitations, and safe operating boundaries. At no point in time were any capabilities, limitations, or operational boundaries at risk of being exceeded.
Be careful Greg. Do not allow your negative military experiences cloud your presentation objectivity. Otherwise you are damaging your reputation in the long run, and clouding the judgement of every day Americans who don’t have the everyday, practical operational knowledge of jet aircraft and the knowledge of differences between “air shows” and “air combat”.
Shame on you Greg.
Look, I’m the owner of an AI company, AdaptNet AI Labs, https://t.co/3j1JzQuFB2. I can tell you without equivocation that the use of AI for Tier1 customer service is exactly the wrong use of AI. People want to speak to people, “NOT MACHINES”.
If you would like to consult with us to discover how AI can benefit your business in several ways beyond front-line (Tier1) customer service, feel free to contact me, a co-CEO/CTO & Chief Scientist, at [email protected].
@UHC@ATT
What a disaster.
UHC-AT&T implemented an AI system for customer service and it’s horrible.
Nobody wants to speak to a machine.
If you want to speak to someone, they put you on hold forever.

My message to Soros: “Blow it out your anti-Semitic, anti-American ASS!!!!
Too bad you and your son are such Jew-hating Jews. You would have thought that the Holocaust would have opened your eyes, but apparently you have succumbed to the same Hitlerian EVIL.
