@MartinSLewis Start small, investing just ยฃ100 a month or less and get used to the volatility of the stock market. It's a fact that the stock market is volatile but it will average out in the long term as better returns than savings.
@a_libutti@andyburnham I think it's also incredibly hypocritical to say deposing a leader is OK this once and we "disagree with the methods" but let's not do that anymore and unite as a party now. No we won an election with Starmer and the time for unity was when he needed the party behind him. Anarchy
@LBC@KarlTurnerMP@SimonMarksFSN This is exactly the issue that will bring down every one of these backstabbing Labour MPs in the next election, all they care about are the poll numbers, they're not looking at any fundamentals or key metrics, not focusing on any long term change like Starmer was, just short term
@bristol_citizen This is true, but worth noting the Greens have a minority control of Bristol council, which they've had since 2021, so no overall control.
@BenGrahamUK Going heavy on both nuclear and renewables is by far the most optimal solution, not exclusively renewables and not exclusively nuclear. Dismissing renewables as intermittent reduces your credibility.
