When you call out to Allāh and request something that only He can provide because you know that it’s not within the ability of the creation to grant you this thing, this is recognised as an act of worship both in Islām and universally.

I’d give the same advice Sh. Abū `Abdullāh al-Hāshimī gave concerning the new Syrian government. It’s only been a week and the statements they’re making are vague and interpretable. Have patience and either Islām or kufr will become clear. Our patience paid off with the Ṭālibān.
