Today marks exactly 187 days since @elrufai has remained in detention.

This is bigger than politics. It is about due process, human dignity, and the rule of law.

If there are allegations to answer, let the courts determine them fairly and without unnecessary delay. Detention must never become a substitute for justice.

To those in authority: let the law prevail over politics and let justice prevail over power.

187 days is too long for uncertainty. We demand fairness, transparency, and timely justice.

The Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, has formally requested permission from the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, to visit former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, who is currently in the custody of the anti-corruption agency.

The group said the visit was intended to enable its representatives to meet with the former governor and assess his condition while in custody.

170 Days Of Betrayal, Ingratitude & Injustice.

170 Days ..Yet neither our leader nor us (his supporters) is broken or has surrendered.

They actually thought we would keep quiet and abandon Mallam Nasir @elrufai after a while, but they have absolutely no clue.

170 Days .. And we are still standing in unwavering solidarity with our leader, mentor and role model.

Why?

Mallam is not a thief, has never been a thief and will never be a thief.

Once a Leader is not a thief, and is confirmed not to be a thief, come rain come shine, we glue to the leader like with iron gum.

170 Days .. Inspite of the evil conspiracy and the weaponisation and manipulation of the judicial system against him ..

... Our Leader Stands Strong, Unbowed, Unbroken & Undiminished ..

... Because his heart is white and he is at peace with his conscience - something that his detractors and persecutors can never boast of.

170 Days .. While he sleeps peacefully at the ICPC facility, his haters, detractors and persecutors stew in their hate, envy and jealousy and suffer sleepless nights, even in their mansions.

Ultimately, the shame is for the duo who treacherously betrayed him and rewarded his honorable conduct and good deeds to them with evil and unprecedented wickedness, as well as for those others who cook, sell and buy hateful lies and evil propaganda against him.

If you think there will be no consequences for such ungodliness, then you have no clue how the "karma" that some charlatans have been ignorantly and hypocritically mouthing actually works.

They surely won't have the last laugh. You can take to the bank!
