זמן התיקון למדינה הוא גם פנימי-חברתי.
21 אחוז מהאזרחים הם חלק מהתיקון. החברה הערבית על גווניה ושונותה היא מנוע צמיחה כלכלי, חברתי ותרבותי למדינת ישראל, היא לא איום, היא הזדמנות למדינת ישראל וגם גשר לשכנותיה.

I want to start by saying out loud what I think you’re already thinking about us.

You believe we used the collapse of Assad to take more land and that we have no intention of ever leaving Mount Hermon. You think every “security arrangement” we offer is just a way to keep striking you whenever we feel like it. You think recognition of the Golan is a humiliation we’re trying to force on you. You think we want Syria weak, isolated, and permanently under our thumb. And you don’t trust that any promise we make today will survive the next Israeli election.

That’s the picture you have. I get it. If I were sitting on your side of the table I would probably lean the same way.

It seems like you’re in an almost impossible position, I get it. You need reconstruction money and some kind of international standing, but you cannot walk back into Damascus and tell your own people you sold the Golan. It seems like Turkey is both the partner that helped you take power and a problem you can’t fully control. And it seems the Druze situation in Sweida is bleeding you politically and you need it to stop looking like chaos you can’t manage hopefully keeping your momentum after the Kurds agreement.

I need to understand how this actually works for you.

How are we supposed to pull our forces back from positions that give us minutes of warning instead of hours when we still hear official statements celebrating October 7 and soldiers chanting about rivers of Jewish blood? No recognition of Israel? March on Jerusalem? Khaybar chants? Druze massacre? Churches destroyed?

What’s the version of this that lets you tell your own street this is not surrender, while still giving us something that doesn’t evaporate the moment the next hardline faction decides the hudna is over?

How do we turn Druze security in the south into your success story instead of an Israeli excuse to stay?

Would it be completely unreasonable for us to keep an early-warning presence until five things have actually been tested in the real world, not just written on paper:
1. No Turkish combat systems in Syria
2. A Druze mechanism you own and we can see working
3. A legal freeze on the Golan claim that you can sell at home as “we didn’t give it up, we parked it”
4. freedom of operation for IAF
5. Israeli recognition
I believe it is reasonable.

I’m not asking you to love us. I’m asking what implementation lets both of us walk out of here able to look our own people in the eye say we didn't have up on our security and reassure the Druze they are safe to live their lives in Syria.

That’s the only conversation I’m interested in having.

Israel have nothing to gain without these conditions, if Jolani wants to change the status quo he need to make it worth our investment and always remember we can double down and force the first four anytime, the only thing he really have to offer is recognition.

If Jolani is a good faith actor that is after better Syrian future w he will offer recognition, if he doesn't you can do the math yourself, but he will be fair game on our part.
