@robbopalmer Valid points indeed. However, I'm not too sure how much information you'd actually gather from behind a tree with just a mobile phone. The intent is still there, but I think the potential punishment (missing out on the PL) outweighs the crime. Anyway, I'm sticking with League 2.
@TROSC_TRFC 100% guaranteed that the fans will be right behind the team from the start. What we need in return is 100% commitment from the squad and some luck for a change.
Maybe "Version 10" of the Tranmere takeover is being planned to coincide with the annual accounts and AGM, which should be around late March.
@trfcslo@trosc_trfc can you gather info on any pending AGM date.
@TranmereRovers Obviously not a perfect performance today but still a good squad effort, along with good subs from Andy Crosby. Must call out our home debutants today Marosi (2 brilliant saves), Obiero (a fantastic goal) & Negru (solid 90 mins). Overall Negru is MotM for me; very impressive.
Bottom half of League 2 is genuinely awful. Tranmere won on New Year’s Day & were 17th; we’ve lost every game since & are still 17th.
Bristol Rovers have lost 16 of their last 20 & remain six points clear of the bottom.
At this rate, we could stop playing now & still finish 17th.
I went today expecting a Tranmere defeat and got one. I'm not on here to have a go at the manager or the players, as little will change until the longest takeover in history is complete. We're lucky so far that every team in the bottom half of this league is also rubbish.
@tranmere A good first half against a good team, then predictably we decided to go deep. That defensive mindset, along with the subs, made it so obvious that we were going to struggle in the second half.
Did I really witness paper, rock & scissors at Tranmere today between Patrick & Whitaker as to who took the free kick?
If so, what a way to win a game.
Ridiculous decision to postpone the Tranmere v Blackpool match tonight. It was a 7pm ko so another 30 Mins to let the pitch drain & dry out would harm no one. The Ref strolled around rolling the ball a few times. I think he will be in a spot of trouble for this.
My survival mode supporting Tranmere is to appreciate the positives, but that was one awful game of football today.
Feel for Ironside who like previous frontmen, gets no supply and no one to feed off.
