@frozensooner And I'm not in disagreement. Most of them are to push back against well-settled law that already prohibits those activities, or they cater to some minor issue that should easily be resolved through the legislature. Constitutional amendments are not appropriate, in either case.
@frozensooner For better or worse, the content doesn't even matter. The reason that these amendments keep popping up on every election is that the folks in Montgomery can't get something passed the way they want to, and amending the Constitution is too easy on a simple referendum.
