This moment is so dark our words feel useless. But in a possible future they may be appreciated and appropriated by comrades yet to be born
@JulianSayarer Thats standard leftist speak (when your comrade is not a "comrade" you say colleague, works in prison and outside).
Islamists say brothers.
Criminals say "my colleague" in 2nd person possessive singular form only!!
@Workshops4Gaza Prison happens to you. The military happens to conscripts not volunteers.
Poverty is a good explanation for petty crime. It is a lame explanation for crimes against humanity. There is no acceptable excuse for joining the US military.
The scale of israeli attacks on civilian targets in Sur today are horrendous. Remember the city of Sur, as with the Palestinian camps of Gaza, has no value to any imperial project, this is simply a process of jewish violence bought by jewish political influence.
'Maritime coercion is dangerous, economically punishing and potentially unlawful. But a real shift in Iran’s strategic imagination could carry consequences very different from those of the nuclear paradigm that has shaped the past 20 years.' My latest for @AJEnglish
Israel could try destroy the whole world and the EU wouldn't condemn them, they would still continue to do Business with the Terrorist State of Israel no matter what...
This is who Israel killed in Beirut today:
A 3-month-old baby girl.
Israel killed her, and killed her mother, Fatima Wehbi, dropping a bomb on a residential building in Lebanon’s capital.
Yesterday the Israeli army massacred a family of six who were fleeing the south after forced displacement orders. 2 small children were among those killed.
Report on this massacre and another massacre in Saida just hours after.
🗞️ New: Israeli officials are privately urging the Trump administration to abandon negotiations with Iran, assassinate Iran’s parliament speaker and lead negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and launch a new round of strikes targeting Iran’s oil infrastructure, according to a classified intelligence assessment cited by Capital & Empire.
Israeli officials reportedly believe renewed attacks could trigger economic collapse and eventually regime change, even as U.S. and Iranian negotiators work toward a framework to extend the ceasefire and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
The push comes amid growing alarm in Israel that a negotiated settlement could leave Iran politically strengthened, preserve its regional influence, and cement its leverage over one of the world’s most important energy chokepoints.

Palestinians have always been "evacuated from the category of civilian," says @4noura.
Lebanese and Palestinian civilians have been consistently targeted by Israel, even when international law dictates that women, children, and men who are not in combat are excluded from being struck in times of war.
On Eid al Adha eve, as people were celebrating whatever was left to celebrate after two years of genocide, Israel struck at the heart of a residential building in Gaza, killing six people and injuring 20, DURING a ceasefire.
Yesterday in Lebanon, Israel killed 40 people and sent evacuation orders to nearly 50 towns in south Lebanon, DURING a ceasefire.
This is what it means to be denied the universally protected category of civilian when Israel is your adversary.
💢 Israeli strikes set Tyre ablaze overnight, targeting power generators in residential neighborhoods
Israeli strikes resumed in Tyre after midnight, setting residential neighborhoods ablaze as civilians attempted to shelter, according to journalist Hala Jaber. Strikes reportedly targeted power generators supplying entire neighborhoods around Al-Dinia Street, bombing parts of the city into darkness.
The strikes came one day after Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir publicly called for Lebanon’s electricity grid to be destroyed, Jaber notes.
The Israeli army blew up my aunt Zeinab’s house yesterday. She is the fourth immediate family member of mine to have her house destroyed by the IDF in the past two months, ours was destroyed in April.
The IDF knew that this house had no weapons or any sort of military presence, since as can be seen on the fourth photo, they had occupied it for a few days before destroying it: we’ve obtained a subscription to a satellite service, and have been monitoring the area daily to check on our family’s homes. The house was destroyed yesterday as part of a systematic and evil process of destroying every single house in the village of Bint Jbeil.
Israel has been making my family homeless for generations. My grandparents lost their homes to them once. My mother has lost her home to them three times, and myself twice.
None of us have ever been involved in any sort of “resistance” or military action against Israel. In every case, we have been uninvolved, innocent civilians: I am a cryptographer, my mother is a retired journalist, and my father a deceased philosophy professor. My uncles and aunts are history professors and homemakers.
May the world bear witness to this.

Tony Blair is the living embodiment of what happens when political office becomes a down payment on future plunder. Ejected in 2007 by his own MPs as a massive liability, he bequeathed Britain a wild casino economy primed for the 2008 crash. And when the British economy crashed and burned, Mr Blair kept quiet while honing his skills at securing power by other means.
His first job, after his ejection from 10 Downing Street, was as the West’s Middle East envoy, with a supposed emphasis on Gaza. It took six painful years for Mr Blair’s tenure to prove a failure so profound it amounted to active complicity in Israel’s ethnic cleansing, in Palestinian erasure, and in paving the ground for the ongoing genocide.
Soon after, the Chilcot Inquiry demolished Blair’s Iraq lies, exposing him as a liar, a chancer and a war criminal responsible for countless corpses of Iraqis, but also of British soldiers.
Then came Blair’s real innovation: the financialisation of the ex-premiership itself. The Tony Blair Institute, fuelled by £130 million from Oracle's Larry Ellison—coincidentally, the largest individual donor to the Friends of the IDF—became a shadow state, brokering governance contracts for autocrats and companies like Palantir that weaponise AI to produce mega-death abroad and full-on surveillance of Western populations.
Now, in May 2026, this corporate fixer issues a 5700 word tantrum demanding that Labour embrace Trump even more than Starmer already has, denounce what is left of Labour’s betrayed Green New Deal, and trash the remnants of workers' rights. This is not the wisdom of an aging statesman. It is the frantic squirming of a man fearing his grip on oligarchic power might soon wane and whose entire post-10 Downing Street existence depends on preventing the many from ever reclaiming what the few have plundered.

💢 BREAKING:
