@johnwalker_1986 Lot of credit to Jesse March:
South Africa won against South Korea with build up interception (which they’re so good at) so March gave them the ball (SA can’t build from the back). South Africa literally couldn’t create anything against Canada.
I think all the BS about Bayern FC turned out to be nonsense.
Davies is not ready to play and I don’t know if he’s gonna be ready in 6 days to probably the biggest game of his career.
But even 70% Alphonso is way better than the whole Canada 🇨🇦 squad.
@ManagerTactical Don’t forget you’re talking about 2 teams that never made it to the second round of the World Cup.
At least Canada 🇨🇦 tried to play some football, South Africa 🇿🇦 was a huge disappointment, they didn’t even try.
Historic performance from #CanMNT
They dominated all the way. South Africa plan to make it to the extra time backfired badly.
Canada 🇨🇦 just made history.
I think FIFA should move ASAP to 64 Team format in the World Cup.
This 3rd place thing is becoming a huge headache.
South Korea 🇰🇷 will have to wait for tomorrow just to find out if they will play another game in this WC or pack their bags back to Seoul.
Argentina 🇦🇷 literally have the easiest path to the Quarterfinals of this FIFA World Cup.
They will face Cape Verde 🇨🇻
Then the Winner between Egypt 🇪🇬 and Australia 🇦🇺.
I think Messi will end his career with at least 25 Goals in the World Cup.
Honestly Tunisia 🇹🇳 is literally the worst team in this FIFA World Cup.
Ellyes Skhiri is the worst player in this World Cup.
Feels so bad for a nation with so much passion for football. Just for their National team to represent them this badly.
What a disgrace.
What a game from Ecuador 🇪🇨.
Despite losing the first game in the last minutes against Côte d'Ivoire 🇨🇮
Despite a surprising draw against Curaçao 🇨🇼
They had to go through the most difficult route and beat Germany 🇩🇪 in the decisive game, even after going 0-1 down.
👏👏
Not to spoil the party before it happens, but the last time Kawhi was "open" to this, many inside and outside of the Raptors organization felt/feel that he was using them as leverage. The more things change the more they stay the same.
Kawhi Leonard didn't want to stay in Toronto after winning a title in 2019 with at least two more within his grasp -- and reportedly didn't want to come to Toronto in 2018 when they were a 59 win team. Being 'open' to coming now feels like someone who needs some leverage.
