ALNG Adjutant General Maj. Gen. David Pritchett spoke to the AL Legislature’s joint session Thursday, with themes of honor and readiness.
He emphasized appreciation for the support of elected leaders and the Military Stability Foundation for a commitment to Alabama’s force.

Under @GovernorKayIvey and the State of Emergency, the ALNG has activated over 350 service members to support public safety throughout this weather event. The ALNG is currently operating across North AL under the direction of the @AlabamaEMA.
I was incredibly impressed by Warrant Officer 1 VanDyke and Master Sgt. Thibault from the Alabama Guard’s 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Special Operations Robotic Detachment. These Soldiers are pushing boundaries — developing real-time, practical solutions with robotics, UAS & advanced tech to dominate the modern battlefield.
