Etrange Overlord producer and scenario writer Roman Kitayama (Sohei Niikawa) discussed how watching Tsunomaki Watame (who voices a character and sings the theme songs) having so much fun playing the game gave him confidence that the gameplay, story, and characters aren't bad at all.

He reasoned that sales numbers aren't growing as much as he hoped is probably the price, so he plans to hold sales at opportune times to increase the number of people playing the game.

He asks that people wishlist Etrange Overlord and to feel free to wait for a sale because he does want to make a sequel for the game.
