@Chenemi_Abraham The false claim is the narrative that Christians are being targeted for their faith, meanwhile Muslims have killed in mosque multiple times by the terrorists, it's a genocide against Nigerian citizens, not only on Christians.

Eleven years later, what was once a dream is now reality - I am officially a Medical Doctor.
With a heart full of gratitude and excitement, allow me to reintroduce myself:
Dr. IFEJIKA THELMA ONYINYE (MB;BS COOU).✨
These were the overzealous security men who arrested me, manhandled, and later tortured several comrades at SARS in Ikeja at the 1998 NUGA Games at the University of Lagos, mostly lawless @OfficialDSSNG agents.
My “crime” was leading a protest demanding that the military regime of Abdusalam Abubakar reinstate student activists expelled under the draconian IBB and Abacha.
And today? After all their bluster, where are these overzealous men now?
If you support a system that destroys your society, you’re not just destroying today; you’re destroying your own future, and that of your children and relatives.
Today, I turn 60.
Sixty years of experiences, lessons and blessings. I woke up this morning feeling grateful, not just for the years, but for the journey itself.
Today is a moment to pause and reflect. I’ve learned that public service is one of the highest callings. It’s not always easy, but it’s deeply fulfilling. Every day, I wake up knowing there’s more to do, more to give, more to build.
Public service teaches you a great deal. It teaches patience. It teaches you how to listen, and how to keep going even when the path is difficult. I’m still learning. I’m always learning.
So today, I’m thankful, for life, for the trust of Lagosians, the people I serve, and for the opportunity to keep working toward something greater than myself.
