Obviously we need to have tighter logistics and eliminate supply chain failures but truth of the matter is that China's ability to copy US airframes still kind of sucks.

They have trouble with the precise tolerances needed to achieve true stealth. Even the smallest seam can dramatically increase a plane's radar cross section.

They also lack the metallurgy to make high performance engines. So even in possession of the classified radar-absorbent canopy to copy, they lack the manufacturing skill and institutional knowledge that the US accumulated during the Cold War.

China has been stealing from the Americans for decades through cyber attacks and spycraft. They still can't compete with the F-35. Hell, no one could compete with the F-22!

American strategic bombers are still in a whole league of their own. China is still using a shitty copy of a shitty Soviet era strategic bomber. Meanwhile the US is well underway with the B-21 which will outclass the B-52, B-1, and B-2.
