@TheAfricaReport Well, I have sent you guys an email and still have no acknowledgment or response to my email. This borders on in professionalism and duplicity.
JIDE ALADE: "What else was noticeable about Hong Kong? Well, as a black person in Hong Kong, I’d advise you not to be up to any skulduggery. The cops will be at your door in two minutes. That’s because black people make up less than 0.1% of Hong Kong’s population. In town, I thought I’d hear people whisper, “That’s the Nigerian dude staying at the Ramada in Sai Ying Pun.” Yet, despite probably being the only black person in any 10-mile radius, Hong Kongers didn’t seem to care much about my presence. I was vexed. For in mainland China from whence I came, I was a celebrity. People stole glances at me, and strangers walked up to me for pictures. But here in Hong Kong, zilch. I didn’t even enjoy a surreptitious glance. It was a callous indifference to my corporeal existence. I am still miffed."

I am doing my Bible study that I begun in January and I am in the book of Numbers…
You see, while reading the story of the children of Israel from Egypt… I just become mad like, what is wrong with these people?
God showed them everything.
He delivered them from slavery.
He parted the sea.
He fed them when there was no food.
He led them with a cloud by day and fire by night.
What more proof did they need?
But then… just a little hunger…
just a little discomfort…
just a little fear…
And they start murmuring again.
Complaining.
Doubting.
Forgetting.
And as I kept reading… something shifted.
It stopped being about them.
It became about me.
Because how many times have I done the same thing?
How many times have I panicked over bills…
like God has never provided before?
How many times have I stressed over food…
like yesterday’s provision didn’t happen?
How many times have I run to people…
begging, explaining, exhausting myself…
while forgetting that my help has never truly come from man?
The truth is painful… but necessary.
Sometimes we don’t lack evidence of God’s faithfulness —
we lack memory.
We forget too quickly.
We forget the prayers that were answered.
We forget the doors that opened.
We forget the days we had nothing… and somehow still made it through.
And just like the children of Israel…
we allow present discomfort to erase past miracles.
But God has been consistent.
Even when I had no stable income — I survived.
Even when things didn’t make sense — He made a way.
Even when I didn’t know how tomorrow would look — He carried me through today.
So why do I still worry like I am alone?
Why do I still act like God is only faithful in the past… but absent in the present?
Maybe the wilderness is not the problem.
Maybe the problem is what the wilderness is revealing in me.
A heart that still struggles to fully trust.
A mind that easily forgets.
A spirit that sometimes looks at the situation more than it looks at God.
But today… I choose differently.
I choose to remember.
I choose to remind myself that if God fed me yesterday, He will feed me again.
If He made a way before, He will make a way again.
If He sustained me without a clear source, then He doesn’t need one now.
God has never failed me.
Not once.
So I refuse to let temporary lack make me forget eternal faithfulness.
Lord, help me not to be like Israel —
seeing Your hand, yet still doubting Your heart.
Teach me to trust You… even when I don’t understand.
Teach me to rest… even when things are uncertain.
Teach me to remember… even in the wilderness.
Because the same God who brought me this far…
is not about to leave me now.
“Lord, have mercy on me.”
The Psalmist famously said “I’d rather fall into the hands of God than man for His mercy is exceedingly great.

@thecurioustales “Evolution”? You mean God. Yahweh. El Shaddai, Elohim and Adonai? I thought so 😂
Pray tell, where did that single-cell , eukaryotic thingamabob come from? How did life emanate from non-life? I’ll wait.
China can't buy oil because Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz and so they will buy it from the Russians. Russia will make a lot of money from this war. If Zelensky doesn't reopen the Friendship Pipeline, we Hungarians will have enough oil. But where does Europe get oil from?
I no be una mate in the spirit realm:

Christianity in the West is not just another religion. It is the moral infrastructure of the civilization. And the atheists who can’t wait to see it disappear will one day regret their contribution to pushing it out, just as their master, Dawkins, did last year.
If Christianity goes, it does not go alone. With it goes everything it produced and then secularized: human dignity, equality before the law, freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, limits on state power, the idea that rulers answer to something higher than themselves.
These did not fall from the sky. They were not discovered by pure reason. They were not produced by biology or evolution. They were born from a worldview.
What makes a king and a homeless man equal? Nature does not, power does not, history does not. Only one idea does: that both are made in the image of God.
What about freedom of speech? Why should anyone be allowed to say what they think? Because in the biblical worldview, conscience belongs to God before it belongs to the state. Because truth is not created by authority.
That is not Greek philosophy, or Roman law, or modern science. That is Judeo-Christian theology translated into politics.
What about limited state power? Why shouldn’t the state control everything? Because in the biblical model, the state is not divine. It is not sacred. It is not the source of morality. It is restrained because God stands above it. Remove God, and the state has no ceiling.
So when people say:“Human reason produced these values,” they are confusing inheritance with invention.
You did not invent them, you were born into them.
Societies that abandon Christianity keep the language of rights but lose the substance. They still say “human dignity,” but they can no longer explain why humans have it. They still say “freedom,” but they redefine it as appetite. They still say “equality,” but they replace it with grievance.
When we defend Judeo-Christian principles we are defending the moral architecture of the West.
A society can survive anything except the destruction of its moral foundation. Those who cheer the death of Christianity believe they are freeing society. In reality, they are removing the load-bearing walls.
And when the roof collapses, they will discover too late
that what they hated was what was holding everything up.
Ryanair CEO addresses his recent spat with Elon Musk in new press conference:
"The Starlink people believe that 90% of our passengers would happily pay for wifi access. Our experience is tells us less than 10% would pay; He (Elon) called me a r*tarted twat. He would have to join the back of a very very queue of people that already think I'm a r*tarded twat, including my four teenage children. But we do want to thank him for the wonderful boost in publicly. Our bookings are up 2-3% in the last few days. So thank you to Mr. Musk, but he's wrong on the fuel drag. Non European citizens cannot own a majority of European airlines, but if he wants to invest in Ryanair we think it would be a very good investment."
“AFCON SMEAR CAMPAIGN”
(Same Game, Different Judgement)
A comment by Darren Lewis, a respected British sports journalist, deserves real credit. Paraphrasing his point:
We need to stop pushing the lazy narrative that what happened at the AFCON final is somehow a stain on all of African football.
When England fans vandalised Wembley after Euro 2020, it wasn’t framed as a failure of European football.
When Calciopoli exposed deep corruption in Italy and Juventus were relegated, it wasn’t used to discredit European club football as a whole.
When Steve Bruce led Sheffield United off the pitch during an FA Cup tie against Arsenal at Highbury, no one claimed it represented English football.
Yet, similar incidents at AFCON are quickly weaponised to question the legitimacy, organisation, and credibility of African football as a whole.
That double standard is the real issue, not the tournament.
Same game. Same problems. Different judgement.
AFCON isn’t the problem, the bias is.
Hello everyone.
Our 30 days prayer and fasting will not be holding here any longer.
Our space feature has been glitchy and despite updates, it has proven inefficient.
Starting next week, the prayers will be held on the X space of Lekan Olayinka @lekan_olayinka1.
Pls RT
Three years ago, I was the smartest Christian in the room.
Or so I thought.
I'd discovered this teacher, won't name him, but if you're in the "hidden Bible knowledge" corners of X, you know the type. He had charts. Timelines. Greek word studies that made seminary professors look like Sunday school dropouts.
And he had a hook:
"What the modern church won't tell you about [insert doctrine]."
I was hooked.
It started innocently. A YouTube video. Then a book. Then a private Discord where the "serious students" gathered.
Within six months, I couldn't listen to my own pastor anymore.
His sermons felt... basic. Shallow. Like he was feeding us milk while I was feasting on meat.
I'd sit in the pew mentally correcting him. "If he only understood the original Greek here..."
I wasn't being sanctified.
I was being isolated.
And I didn't see it because I felt smarter than I'd ever felt in my Christian life.
My wife asked me a simple question:
"Has all this studying made you love Jesus more, or just made you love being right?"
I got defensive. Angry, even.
Because deep down, I knew the answer.
I could chart the seventy weeks of Daniel. I could debate the Nephilim.
But I hadn't prayed—really prayed—in months.
I'd become a theological collector instead of a disciple.
THE FIVE SYMPTOMS I MISSED (That You're Missing Too)
Looking back, the red flags were neon. If you're in the early stages of what I went through, here's what you're experiencing right now:
1. You're Chasing the "Secret"
The content you consume always promises "What they won't tell you." Hidden knowledge. Lost books.
The trap: God doesn't hide truth from the humble. He hides it from the proud. (Matthew 11:25)
2. You Need Extra Books to Prop It Up
My teacher loved the Book of Enoch. Not as historical context—as required reading.
The trap: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." (Isaiah 8:20, KJV)
3. You Feel Superior to "Average Christians"
This was the most intoxicating part. I'd scroll through Christian X and think, "These people have no idea."
The trap: "Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth." (1 Corinthians 8:1, KJV)
4. You're Poisoned Against Plain Preaching
I couldn't sit under normal teaching anymore. Expository sermons felt boring.
The trap: The gospel that saves is simple enough for a child. If you need a PhD to understand your teacher's "real" message, you're learning gnosticism.
5. It Produces Charts, Not Holiness
Here's the test I failed: I could draw you a timeline of the end times. But I couldn't tell you the last time I'd wept over my sin.
The trap: "By their fruits ye shall know them." (Matthew 7:20, KJV)
THE WAY OUT
I didn't leave because I got smarter.
I left because I got desperate.
One night, after another argument with my wife about my "studies," I broke.
I prayed the most honest prayer of my life:
"God, if I'm wrong, show me. Even if it humiliates me. I don't want to be right. I want to be Yours."
Within a week, the scales fell.
I deleted the Discord. Unsubscribed from the channels. Threw out the books.
And I went back to my church and wept through an entire sermon on the prodigal son.
If you're reading this and feeling defensive, you're where I was.
Run this test: Fail two of the symptoms above, and walk away before you lose three years like I did.
I'm not writing this from a high horse. I'm writing this from the ditch.
Here's what I came back to:
Jesus. Crucified. Risen. Coming again.
Repent. Believe. Be baptized. Make disciples.
Love God. Love neighbor. Die to self.
That's it.
No secret knowledge required. No hidden books. No elite club.
Just a bloody cross and an empty tomb.
And if that feels too simple, you're already in the trap
@IsaacXVoxel Well said, brother. Reading into Scriptures extra-biblically is how heresy and false doctrines propagate. We must always use Scriptures to interpret Scriptures.
