Nigerians are sleeping on the amazing work that the very young but impressive Dr. Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi is doing at the African Aviation and Aerospace University, Abuja. This guy has lent credence to the agitation for sensible young people to be given positions of high responsibility.

I had the privilege of his invitation to tour the facilities of the fledgling University, and all I could feel, was amazed.

From building the most unique library in Nigeria, to constructing the largest single faculty building in the country (the building has 86 toilets and some of the most spacious offices i have seen), Dr. Abdullahi has shown that the trust placed in him by the Honourable Minister, @fkeyamo, is well-deserved.

Kudos to the minister for letting the young man stay on (he was appointed by the previous administration), but the Senior Advicate of Nigeria saw in Abdullahi, what most people failed to see, and let him survive the tsunami that took aviation industries by storm in 2023.

Today, Keyamo's faith in young, credible Nigerians has paid off, as Dr. Abdullahi showed me, yesterday, the incredible projects going on in a university nestled amongst some of the most beautiful, lush green parts of the federal capital.

During the guided tour led by Dr. Abdullahi himself, I could sense the passion he possess per 'his school'.

Worthy to note is the fact that, upon his appointment in the last administration, the only tool he was given to build and run the school, was the name of the school. No funding, no office, no classes, no logo, nothing!!

He explained to me the sacrifices and steps he took to get this project off the ground. Today, AAAU has about 300 students, world class accommodation facilities, and some of the most unique learning environment that Nigerian students could wish for.

I must also acknowledge and thank our president, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for granting the huge expanse of land that the one-of-a-kind university now occupies.

From top to bottom, there is an intentionality about this project that excites me, and should excite every well-meaning Nigerian, too.

I urge you to book a tour of the school with Dr. Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi, and let me know what you think, afterwards. Great leaders are born where opportunity meets ability, and this young man is doing a marvellous job over at AAAU, supported by Festus Keyamo.

We’re rolling out social functionalities step-by-step, evolving the app into a full-fledged social media platform deeply integrated with blockchain and AI. This will be the foundation of our sustainability strategy—bridging blockchain with real-world use cases.

We’re postponing the open mainnet launch to focus more resources on enhancing the core app experience.

🔹 Local Services Transition
Current local services will be phased out and will be replaced with advanced features within our upcoming social media ecosystem.
