نشأت والإنجليزية تقدم لي باعتبارها مفتاح النجاح في العالم، والواقع انني تعلمتها واحببتها. هذه اللغة فتحت لي نوافذ، وغيرت نظرتي للعالم. لكن الحقيقة التي يجب ان اعترف بها ان الثمن جاء لاحقا: حين بدات عملي المهني، وجدت ان عربيتي لم تكن بالعمق الذي تستحقه. لا في النطق والكتابة، بل في السكن داخلها. والفن تحديدا لا يعيش إلا بهذا السكن. اشعر بالخجل احياناً، لكن الاعتراف واجب. وجب مواجهة هذه الحقيقة.

اعيش في المانيا منذ سنوات، وعلاقتي بالالمانية ليست سهلة. لكنها تزداد عمقا عاما بعد عام، لانن اواصل، ولان الألمانية تتنفس حولي بصوت عال. الالمان لا يدرسون فنونهم بالإنجليزية، وليس لانهم يرفضون العالم، بل لانهم يعرفون أن الفن الأصيل يخرج من لغتهم وارضهم.

اتمنى ان تتعلموا من تجربتنا: الإنجليزية أداة عظيمة، لكنها ليست بيتا. والفن لا يبنى إلا في البيت.

The East-West pipeline is rated at ~7m b/d, according to Saudi Aramco. Prior, probably was operating at less than that half capacity, so that's an extra ~5m b/d available. The four major berths at the Yambu crude oil terminal has capacity to load that -- and quite more.

But the pipeline and the port had never sustained anything close to that, so the market is about to see if the stated flows match the reality.

The Saudis have a HUGE incentive to flow as much crude as possible bypassing the Strait of Hormuz. The market typically doubts the Saudis, but in the past, they have surprised to the upside on their ability to find workarounds (see Abqaiq in 2019). Saudi Aramco facilities are gold-plated, in the sense they are built with lots of resiliance and redundancy.
