🧵 var vs let vs const — and why it actually matters

When I started learning JavaScript, people kept saying:

"Use const."
"Avoid var."
But nobody explained WHY.

Here's the explanation I wish I'd gotten earlier 👇

8/ That's because let and const enter the Temporal Dead Zone (TDZ).

They're hoisted, but they can't be accessed until execution reaches their declaration.

This prevents a lot of subtle bugs.
