And there it is. A Prime Minister who consults with his team ( which includes experts) versus a President who makes his mind up on his own… dangerous dangerous man.
As presented, this sounds more like public engagement than dialogue. Given Sciencewise's remit, maybe a strap line such as 'What are the public's views on large-scale net zero infrastructure etc' ?
@Sciencewise@UKRI_News@sarahcastell Congratulations on the success. I would like to pay tribute to Simon Burall, his leadership and expertise helped make the Programme so influential. So said to hear of his passing, he will be greatly missed.
I hope #WilliamWragg will not be hounded. He has admitted his wrong doing & his remorse is genuine. He was reckless & foolish leaving himself vulnerable to blackmail - turning himself into a victim of crime

Let's hope our Government don't adopt the Israeli way. When Hamas killed 1200 civilians, Israel has killed 32000, so after Israel kills 3 UK civilians we would be justified in bombing Israel to kill 90 civilians?
So based on Israeli thinking after Hamas killed 1200 of their citizens, they have killed 3 of ours, so should we now bomb Israel until we have killed about 100 innocent civilians.
Sky News military analyst tells us that Israel killing several aid workers "looks like a dreadful mistake", before going on to explain how hard it would have been for the Israeli jet to identify the aid workers vehicles from 10,000 feet up.
@RestIsPolitics@campbellclaret@RoryStewartUK My question. Government recently announced they have dealt with legacy asylum cases. What happened to them? How many were granted asylum, sent back or whatever? Thanks. Alan Mercer
And when that money now goes to Party donors rather than lots of hotels. Job done securing funds for Tory party for next election, who cares about 'best for the country'.
🥀 *The £125 million reason*
A new website to reveal why Labour MPs are so keen to back striking unions.
A huge £125 million in union donations to the Labour Party, including £264,000 to one senior frontbencher.

Politically Labour has no choice. We have exited and anything about going back in would be meat and drink to the Tories. Going against the will of the people etc etc
@SimonUbsdell I want Labour to oust the Tories because the Tories are entirely rotten but when fear of Brexit stops them from actually opposing govt policy and all they do is essentially say, ‘We’ll do the same but be better at it’… well that doesn’t feel like democracy or honesty or hope…
"All EU red tape will be consigned to history..." @trussliz then list a load of planning/broadband etc measures that have nothing to do with EU red tape (which will be replaced by Red White and Blue tape that business will have to adjust to (=bureaucracy) but hey, gets applause.
