@StarTrekOnPPlus@paramountplus Just finished watching ep10, a fantastic end to the season. And just awesome, with so much to come. I hope. It was left so open.
@TCarte16@carefreeomid@benshapiro Also living in Scotland, we have free higher education. (College/ University) as well and cost of living is cheeper as well
@TCarte16@carefreeomid@benshapiro That’s rubbish, taxation is different levels based on your income. If your an employee. But remember from day 1 of employment your entitled to 28 days paid leave plus Statutory holidays. And paid sick pay, and employers pension. Regardless of job. Not including the NHS.
@ArchieK99@carefreeomid@benshapiro I am from Glasgow Europe’s most Dangerous City aparently. Not far from Dunblane. Gun’s are not banned in the UK just heavily regulated. And not common place. We have gun crime but only approx 30 deaths each year. Here’s the thing you can run from a knife. Just not from a gun.
@Kdizzlecizzle @GrahamAllen_1 @JoeBiden Honestly move to Europe, free health care, no guns. Sick pay, legally required holidays from work every year. So much I love about the US but I love to visit but wouldn’t want to live there.
@edquist1989 @corychris_cory @AmericanGwyn@POTUS Remember you can run from someone with a knife or out number them and overpower them. If it’s a person with a gun you don’t have a chance.
@edquist1989 @corychris_cory @AmericanGwyn@POTUS Living in the UK, in Scotland, Glasgow as it was named as the most dangerous in Europe. And we put tight gun controls in place after Dunblane. We have bollards around schools. That would stop that. And other public spaces as well. Time to wise up.
@whoHeisenberg @StevieRae1666 @edquist1989 @AmericanGwyn@POTUS You can still legally own a gun here but not common and the laws and regulations around guns makes it a hassle unless your in a club.
@whoHeisenberg @StevieRae1666 @edquist1989 @AmericanGwyn@POTUS I live in Scotland, not far from Dunblane, we have had 0 mass shooting since then. But we have issues with knife crime. But at least if someone brings a knife you have a chance of running or fighting back. With a gun you don’t stand a chance. And gun crime each year is below 40.
@POTUS The UK has strict gun laws you can still own a gun here but it’s very very hard to get a license. Dunblane is not far up the road. But here’s the thing. If someone pulls a gun on you no point trying to run, someone pulls a knife, you running may save your life.
