Dear Jacob,

I write this as a proud Brit who has been fighting in Ukraine since January 2024.
I have been here for over half of this war, living with Ukrainians as WE defend Europe from russia.

Your analysis that war is on the horizons of Britain is correct.
The threat Russia poses to ourselves and to Europe is absolute.
We must not cower at the horrors of war, but stand steadfast in our resolve, our morals and duty to defend our land, our people and our allies.
As of right now the Russian regime and its allies seek to destroy what we have.

But what our wonderful and brave country needs is leadership. True leadership.
I think back to the greatest generation and the inspirations they gave me to fight russia today.
The men who volunteered their lives willingly in the line of duty.
The women who worked tirelessly in the factories to ensure Britian kept moving, the teenagers that lied about their age because they felt that duty was shared, and the leadership we found in Winston Churchill to lead our nation in its darkest hours. A man who would himself travel to the front lines, a man who knew what service to our nation was.

And then I watch your videos and it is abundantly clear you are not him.
Although you understand the threat posed, your words are hollow and demoralizing.
As you sit in your posh chair, in your posh room, in your posh house espousing that "some of you may die" it is clear that you are abstract from the horrors of war and the sacrifices you are asking of our men and women.

Our country needs leaders that understand what it is to lead men and women, to bleed with them. People that stir inspiration and not pompous smuggery, drowned in champagne and caviar as the working people defend our nation.

I invite you to come to Ukraine and join our unit, show leadership from the front, prove to people that this duty is a duty and sacrifice shared. See what you are asking of people first hand, understand what must be done from the ground up and realise that it is not you who must make these calls of sacrifice and duty, but leaders who can.
Show solidarity with your men on the ground.

As I approach 3 years of service in Ukraine, I have buried more friends than I care to count, amongst them are many Brits, the bravest and best of our nation, those who came without needing to be called upon. You won't even know their names.

Come to Ukraine, show solidarity with you citizens, show that the political class is no different to the working class. Give the country something to rally behind instead of condescending messages cast from a suede chair.

Britian will prevail.

I think for me its a massive dissapointment and America has lost its way politically. I do not find it funny that a long time ally of the UK and Europe has caused so many problems.

That would never happen. Rents would double because the regulations would be cut to help landlords. This would happen to a lot of regulations meaning higher cost. Reform do not care about workers or housing rights.

Qho is Trump to demamd that when he has increased the length of the war. Cut back any help to Ukraine .
The days of USA having that influence to change the world are gone. All that left is madmen who still think they are inly power that matters. Thankfully Ukraine will ignore, because it has no choice bit to protect its own country.
