@DerbyshireRPU Don’t spread yourselves too thinly now....

[Motorway Martin 💙🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 @MotorwayMartin1]

Yet again I find myself at the mercy of drivers who either don't take notice of a ❌ above a closed motorway lane, or choose to ignore it. Our job is inherently dangerous when we deal with incidents in a live lane, and is made more so when this happens. Don't drive in a ❌ lane.

Derby. Corsa driver goes round a roundabout twice then keeps swerving at the very last moment to avoid parked cars. Like a rabbit in headlights when stopped by one of our unmarked cars. Drunk. Arrested and charged. #Fatal4 #DontDrinkDrive #DontGetWrecked

[StaffsRCT @StaffsRCT]

Earlier on today, M6 Toll on @StaffsPolice area, this driver was recorded driving at an eye watering 152mph ... with his 2 year old daughter in the back. There’s no excuse for this speed, a lengthy ban is highly likely

[StaffsRCT @StaffsRCT]

Wasn't just the load that drew our attention to this one J6-4 earlier on the M42...it was the 90+mph & tailgating...but the ultimate aggravating factor...the driver only passed his test.....this morning !! & it was his first ever motorway drive!! Reported Due Care #S3RTA1988 3505

This driver of this Fiesta is going to have an uncomfortable day at court in the future.

We detected them driving at 90mph in a 40mph limit - the lower speed had been set for road workers protection.

#Fatal5

Allestree. Out in a new unmarked car (spoiler: it's not got an FJ reg prefix). Spot these two quad riders who felt that as they were awake, the rest of Allestree needed to be. Revving anti-socially to startle pedestrians, swerving and wheelies. Ticket and S59 warning. #Traffic
