@thyphoidjack Phenomenal aircraft. The sound was awesome. I was fortunate enough to have flown in them on several occasions. I still remember as if yesterday. Sad that they no longer fly but you have to preserve them. The Harvard trainers also had a lovely and distinctive sound

SPECIAL FORCES CYCLE TEST
An applicant must pass a Special Forces entry test upon reporting for SFIND 1 Selection before the rest of the medical and psychological assessments will be done:
40 push-ups without a break
67 sit-ups within 2 minutes
Fireman’s lift for 175m within 65 seconds
5 km run within 24 minutes
40 shuttle runs (6m) within 95 seconds
4 pull-ups
15km walk with 15kg in 3 hours
Water Fear Test, whereby a person is put in the swimming pool and if the member is afraid of water such a member cannot be accepted
The remaining candidates then need to complete the Operator's PT Test and a 50km route march with 45kg kit in 8 hours. The Operator's PT test consists of the following:
1. 5km run in 20 minutes
2. 76 Sit-ups in 2 minutes.
3. 50 Push-ups in 2 minutes.
4. Fireman's Lift 200m in 90 sec.
5. 10 pull-ups.
6. Shuttle Runs, 25m, in 2 min.
7. 25km with 25kg kit, in 3 hours 30min.
The Special Forces Basic Training Cycle consists of the following courses:

If you do pass Selection, you will do the Operator PT Test virtually every week during you whole Basic Cycle of nearly 20 months .
After successfully completing the Special Forces Basic Training Cycle, Operators can continue with any of the following specialist fields:

Urban Reconnaissance
Rural Reconnaissance
Photography
Climbing Techniques
Urban Operations
OEC practitioner
Parachuting
