@moonachris @bluebirdk7 It was surprisingly quiet all week. The campsite in Grizedale was nearly empty. A few people arrived on Friday for the weekend but when I spoke to them they were just walking/climbing. You could park in the museum car park for £8 all day. We did that on Wednesday and Thursday.

They moved across towards the East bank (possibly to the Activity Centre there) and the black Police dingy went and had a word. We were directly opposite on the West side.

To be honest we’ve had a lovely week in the Lake District.
Sad for anyone that could only go yesterday or today as they didn’t get to see anything really.

@bluebirdk7 Today they put K3 in the water and started the engine. We were down near to it and one of the crew said they weren’t going to run it because the weather was too unpredictable.
Looking at the forecast we’re losing hope of seeing either boat run at speed this week unfortunately.
