#HealthForAll means ALL.
#PrideMonth2024 has come to an end, but our work for inclusive, just, non-discriminatory health care for all continues every day.
As part of #Pride month, Dr Suzanne Crowe, President of the Medical Council, has encouraged doctors and healthcare workers to lean into professional development, challenge biases, and advocate for policies that lift up our most vulnerable populations. https://t.co/L4AQHcaDnv
Between 2013 - 2022, the mortality rate from:
- cancer fell by 11.4%
- circulatory system diseases fell by 25.1%
- ischaemic heart diseases fell by 33.4%
- respiratory system diseases fell by 24.5%.
