This Midland Fowler 4F was built by Armstrong Whitworth in January 1922. It spent most of its BR life at Midland main line sheds, and the time of my photo was based at Hasland (18C). It ended its life at Buxton (9L) on 28 September 1965 and was scrapped in December 1965.
