@ROB_Robireland Hutchison has waited patiently for his chance and he certainly took it. As for full back Rowe was fabulous going forward. Josh McKay is eligible soon and Wes Goosen next year. Goosen brilliant under high ball. Healthy competition should raise standards.
@ScottishLabour Worked in addictions for 16 years. Drug legislation does impact drug use but the biggest factors by far that contribute to drug use are: social, education, criminal justice, health and employment/welfare policies. These are all within the remit of the Scottish Parliament.
@alexmassie Undoubtedly a great day given Scotland's performance. It would however be an even greater day if we heat Ireland and actually win the 6 nations for the first time next week.
@JimSpenceDundee I suspect your suggestion would be very popular with large sections of the public, however we enter a dangerous world if the rule of law is not respected. Equally disconcerting would be if juries start to acquit people if they feel crimes are morally justified.
@alexmassie Sorry to hear this. I enjoyed his rugby column in The Scotsman as well as his literary reviews. Gregor Townsend spoke glowingly of his rugby knowledge in a Scotsman article 10 days ago. Your piece was a worthy tribute.
@JimSpenceDundee It’s been evident since the 90s that young Scottish players are not developing the same skill sets demonstrated by youngsters in Norway and many other leagues. The measures taken by the SFA i.e. Walker Commision or the Schools of Excellence appeared not to have bridged the gap
@alexmassie Always enjoyed his literary reviews and have consequently broadened my tastes in literature. I have also missed his rugby column in The Scotsman. I appreciated the balanced opinions and the absence of hyperbole. I am sorry to hear he is unwell.
@rugby_ap As an Edinburgh fan, I can't say I'm surprised, but disappointed, yes. His performances have been outstanding for the last couple of years. Most fans will appreciate his 5 years of service and wish him well.
@JimSpenceDundee Not a Rangers fan but thought that last night‘s performance was probably one of the worst ever from a Scottish team in Europe. Only positive was an outstanding performance from Jack Butland. Saw no evidence for keeping on Russell Martin.
@DalgetySusan The evidence base for using m'done is strong. It can bring stability when users are in chaos.
M'done and Buvidal, which has been available in the community for 4+ years should remain available.
Rehab is desirable but will only help when attender is ready and prepared.
@RorySteyn11 Great win for Glasgow tonight. Full blooded match, but Glasgow triumphed. Kyle Rowe got man of the match, but the other Kyle put in a great performance.
@rugby_ap In the recent Challenge Cup game at The Hive, Edinburgh were coasting it until Goosen and Canaan Modie came on. Goosen's kicking and Moodie's aerial ability were immense. Edinburgh have been so inconsistent this season but have been better last few games.
