Hi @SamsungCareUS, I need your help with a Galaxy S23+ that I purchased directly from Samsung US and later brought with me when I relocated to India.
The phone has developed a pink line on the display after normal use.
Samsung India can repair it, but has refused any goodwill waiver or discounted repair solely because it was purchased in the US.
I understand warranty policies may be country specific, but since I bought the device directly from Samsung US, could your team please review...
On this page, a couple of schedules would normally load within a few seconds, allowing me to continue. Since yesterday however, none are loading and the search bar isn’t working either. I know I shouldn’t have waited until the last 2 days, but I’d truly appreciate any assistance.
@IncomeTaxIndia@FinMinIndia Until yesterday afternoon, the portal was working fine and I had completed all my ITR filing details. I only needed to verify/validate the return, but encountered a technical error. Since then, I’ve been unable to proceed past the attached page.
I’ve tried repeatedly since yesterday afternoon, including multiple logins, different browsers and Incognito mode, but the page still won’t load or let me proceed. Could someone from your team please assist? I’d be truly grateful. Thank you.
@SamsungCareUS I need your help with a display issue on my Galaxy S23+ Certified Re-Newed. A permanent pink vertical line has appeared on the display. There is no physical damage, and the phone has never been opened or repaired.
I chose Samsung Certified Re-Newed because I trusted Samsung to restore the device to like-new quality. I would sincerely appreciate Samsung US taking ownership of this case and helping your India team resolve it fairly. Thank you.
I'm currently in India. Could Samsung US please escalate this case and coordinate with Samsung India to have the device inspected and consider a goodwill display replacement or a nominal-cost repair?
I would sincerely appreciate Samsung taking ownership of this case and guiding the Chennai service centre accordingly. I have always trusted Samsung quality, which is precisely why I bought a Samsung Certified Re-Newed device directly from Samsung. Please help.
I kindly request Samsung India to please review this as a goodwill case and coordinate with an authorised Chennai service centre for a free display replacement, or at least a nominal-cost repair, rather than asking me to pay for a display failure I did not cause.
I understand that the original US one-year warranty has now expired. However, this is a Samsung-refurbished device with a Samsung replacement display that has developed a display defect without any physical damage.
The pink line is clearly a display-panel issue. Screenshots are completely normal, confirming that the image being generated by the phone is fine and the problem is confined to the physical display.
I specifically chose Samsung Certified Re-Newed because Samsung stated that these devices were professionally refurbished by Samsung technicians with genuine parts, including a new battery and new display. The phone has otherwise been in excellent condition.
This is a Samsung Galaxy S23+ Certified Re-Newed 256GB, model SM-S916U1, purchased directly from Samsung US. It was ordered on Dec 9, 2024 and delivered on Dec 13, 2024.
