@triffic_stuff_ @10DowningStreet They never said they wouldn't raise taxes. They used the same trick to fool the public as Blair did, i.e. saying they wouldn't raise income tax. Other taxes are fair game; they're scum, but too many people couldn't see past getting rid of the Tories.

@jongaunt @Morrisons Self-checkouts are often a pain in the neck. Tesco, in particular, really don't seem to have got it right but, in Aldi, most of the time, it makes a huge difference when you have the place swamped with bussed in farm workers and all you want is a can of soup.
