Protocol 26 is a major milestone ahead of the final planned upgrade, Protocol 27. With 8 successful upgrades completed over the past few months, these final two upgrades will bring the network up to date with the latest protocol features, improvements, and functionality.

Pi2Day 2026：Pi 正在走向真正的基础设施

从整体来看，Pi 的发展方向已经越来越清晰。

一、Node 不再只是节点，而是计算资源。

官方发布了 SoloHost，开发者可以在 Pi Desktop 上发布本地应用和 AI 工具，用户可以直接在自己的电脑运行。

未来，Pi Node 不仅维护区块链，还将参与 AI、本地应用和分布式计算等实际任务。

官方还透露，未来符合条件的 Node 可以参与 AI 计算，由第三方支付 Pi 作为计算费用。

Node 的价值，正在从维护网络，逐步走向提供计算能力。

二、Pi 身份开始走向互联网。

Pi Sign-in 正式发布。

以后，第三方网站和应用也可以接入 Pi 登录，就像 Google Login、Apple Login 一样。

Pi 的身份体系，不再局限于 Pi Browser，而是开始连接整个互联网。

三、Pi KYC 对外开放。

PiVerify 正式推出。

第三方企业可以直接使用 Pi 的实名认证能力完成 KYC、身份验证和合规审核，��使用 Pi 支付服务费用。

这意味着，Pi 的身份能力第一次开始服务于 Pi 生态之外。

为什么一直强调 AI？

因为未来越来越多的应用需要四样东西：

计算能力、真实身份、数据隐私和真实用户。

而 Pi 已经拥有全球数千万用户、超过 1800 万完成 KYC 的实名用户，以及超过 42 万个 Node。

我的理解

如果用一句话概括这次 Pi2Day：

至于最终能够走到哪一步，还需要时间去验证。

但至少，这次 Pi2Day 展示出来的发展方向，比单纯讨论价格更值得关注。
