@RabbleRousah @graceblakeley None of these studies were considered to be good quality by an NHS systematic review. Coupled with the long term health risks, I can't see a clear benefit. Access to therapy does have solid numbers and a huge evidence base, so that's the clear alternative in the meantime.

There's no data, so you have no idea whether this treatment also has negative mental health effect. What gives you your certainty?

@RabbleRousah @graceblakeley I'm just saying I prefer evidence to not having evidence. They've already ordered the studies to begin which will involve people being prescribed blockers. It would help if people had actually read the report, pretty much everyone just assumed it bans forever.

They wrote to NHS in march recommending studies commence + further recommended more evidence be produced through studies on blockers. I feel a lot of people comment on the review without having read it at all.
