The Massachusetts mother who killed her three young children is arguing she was in a psychotic episode. Prosecutors say she is still criminally responsible.

A veteran child abuse prosecutor put it best:

“Nobody who murders children is a victim. No matter what they’re suffering through. You’re never a victim if you murder people. If you murder your children, you need to be held accountable.”

It's been pretty dark here lately, but it makes me all the more grateful to have a wife who really loves her children and is radically devoted to her family. And is even more repulsed by the Lindsay Clancy fan club than I am. It also makes me all the more sympathetic to the young men who haven't found a wife yet and are absolutely terrified of ending up with the sort of woman we see in these TikTok videos.

It's true that young people today "have it easy," in certain ways, when compared to older generations. But not in this way. When it comes to fulfilling the fundamental human need and desire to find a faithful, virtuous spouse and start a family, I think this generation can, without exaggeration, say that they just might have it worse than anyone ever has.

imo you literally get that “spark” all over again. everything is a new experience to your kid. seeing a bug? coolest thing ever. eating ice cream. amazing. going for a car ride. painting a picture. even every day normal activities like grocery shopping are an incredible experience with them. holidays like christmas, easter, halloween etc all feel like how they felt like when you were a kid again. everything is exciting again because you are seeing the world for the first time through their eyes
