AlasaPills continues its mission of reaching communities across Nigeria with the “Pad a Girl Child Project” and its Public Health Awareness Program, this time at Olokoro Girls’ Secondary School, Umuahia South, Abia State.
Our team engaged the students in practical conversations on menstrual hygiene, self-care, and basic public health practices. We discussed how to manage periods with dignity, debunked common myths, and encouraged the girls to speak up about their health needs without shame or fear.
As part of the outreach, we distributed sanitary pads and emphasized that no girl should miss school or lose confidence because of her period. We also highlighted the role of teachers, parents and the community in supporting young girls through adolescence with empathy and accurate information.
This outreach is one step in a much bigger journey as AlasaPills continues to reach more schools, more communities, and more girls ensuring that menstrual health and public health education are accessible to all.
Cristiano Ronaldo saw the message of the Venezuelan boy who lost everything after the earthquake and he took action ❤️🩹🙏🏼
In addition to sending him words of encouragement, he invited Andrés to meet him: “I want you to attend one of my games!”.
Sending strenght and all best wishes to Andrés 💭
Toronto looked absolutely magical after watching Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal win. One unforgettable football night. Toronto is truly a top city 🇵🇹🌆⚽🔥
Your son wanted to play on the girls' team. That's not a "simple wish." It's an absurd and unfair demand.
The simple wish is when girls ask to have their sports to themselves.
If the world still has millions of Ronaldo fans, count me among them.
If only a few remain, I’ll still be standing.
If I’m the last fan left, I’ll proudly carry the name.
And if Ronaldo ever has no fans, then I’m probably no longer here. 🐐❤️.
With you always king 💗👑
