@hesperique I did see some slobs, but most people I saw in my rather hippie town were actually pretty nicely dressed to go to the main 4th of July event in town. It’s nothing like what we used to put on in the bush in the 90’s though. A parade, children’s races down the Main Street, etc.

Instead of something grand, he painted an aging artist carefully lettering a simple “Happy Birthday” banner across the Liberty Bell.
