@DMBMamas @concertvids34 As someone who hates Vegas I would rather not be tempted to come back for a sphere run. The venue is like stepping into the future but Vegas is still a nightmare. DMB is right in the wheelhouse of what the sphere is looking for though.

@concertvids34 Capshaws relationship with the MSG group might allow them to dip their toe in the waters to speak. As more groups play the sphere visuals will become cheaper and better quality. They’ll have to change their residency view a bit too with east coast mini sphere coming up.

@concertvids34 Seeing the differences in resale tickets for this phish run and last sphere phish run. I think the sweet spot for DMB would be one or two 3-night runs, assuming the promoters would let them do that few shows. Seems like they usually want a month commitment here.

@concertvids34 Same could be said for Phish or Dead and Co in terms of selling lots of lawns. I think DMB would do the hotel/ticket package like phish and there’d be a lot of comp’d tickets for the casinos as well. I view it more like skipping a fall tour than skipping the gorge.

@concertvids34 Yeah certainly don’t mean copying each visual. If you watched highlights from Chesney and ZBB you could see how they would personalize scenes from dead and co. Only a true nerd would even notice it. Phish is doing the same with this run from their prior run.

@concertvids34 I dont view it as much difference between when the band would play a few nights at a sold out MGM while still doing the gorge. Sphere is still a novelty, Vegas is still an easy destination. A phish-esq run would be a hot ticket. Sell way better than Chesney or ZBB.

@MrAzSports Ever been to El Chorro in Paradise Valley? I don’t know AZ nearly as well as you but have been going there for years and absolutely love it. Cinnamon roll appetizers is an underrated move!
