Hey CNN — so you got your little press pass yanked after years of treating “news” like a creative writing assignment, a judge shoved you back in the door, and now we’re supposed to pretend this is some historic attack on the First Amendment?
Other presidents have frozen out outlets they didn’t like. Obama’s people treated Fox like it wasn’t real news. Biden’s shop iced reporters and tightened credentials when coverage got inconvenient. Nobody in your building called that a constitutional crisis.
When a Republican does it, suddenly it’s fascism and every network has to hold hands and boycott the pool like it’s a high school protest.
Fox even jumped in on the boycott. That’s how you know this isn’t about principle. It’s rules for thee.
So now that you’re allowed back in: you still planning to run fiction and call it reporting, or did the timeout actually change anything?

All of you walked off the pool because you couldn’t stomach being held to the same standard you cheer when the other team does it. Cute.

@AbdulElSayed Doc, if you actually make it to the Senate you don’t get to pick which parts of the country you mourn.
You raise your right hand and swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Not “my faith first, America second.” Not “the 3,000 on 9/11 were a tragedy but let’s immediately pivot to how my country is the real problem.” That oath doesn’t have a footnote for people who think the body count in Iraq and Afghanistan somehow cancels out what was done in the name of their religion on a Tuesday morning in New York.
And while we’re doing civics: there has never been a law that stops a sitting president from buying or selling stocks. Congress and the Senate have the STOCK Act and disclosure rules. The president does not. That’s not a loophole somebody just invented. That’s how it’s always been. You might want to get that through your skull before you start lecturing everybody about who is “ignorantly” acting in whose name.
You spent the 20th anniversary of 9/11 drawing a moral equivalence between jihadists flying planes into buildings and the country that got attacked. Then you deleted it when it became inconvenient. That’s not “nuance.” That’s telling Americans whose side you’re really on when the cameras aren’t rolling.
If you want the job, take the oath like you mean it. Or stay on Twitter and keep mourning the wars instead of the people who started them.
P.S.
Doc, one more thing before you start equating body counts on the anniversary of 9/11.
Christianity had already been around for six centuries before your prophet ever heard a word in that cave. The God Christians and Jews were already worshipping didn’t need a 7th-century rebrand. “Allah” is just the Arabic word for the same God — not a new product line you get to claim while you mourn the wars more loudly than the 3,000 people murdered in New York “in the name of my faith.”
When you raise your hand for the Senate you swear to the Constitution of this country, not to a running tally of who suffered more after the fact. Get that through your skull. The timeline isn’t on your side and neither is the oath. @DeathToAllah

@AbdulElSayed On the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Abdul El-Sayed — the same guy now running to be a United States Senator — posted this gem:
Today I mourn the 3,000 Americans murdered in NYC “in the name of my faith.”
Tomorrow I’ll mourn a million people in three countries “in the name of my country.”
Read that again.
He put the slaughter of 3,000 of our people and the wars we fought AFTER they flew planes into our buildings on the same moral scale. Same sentence structure. Same “ignorantly.” Like it’s a wash.
Then he scrubbed it.
When you raise your right hand and take that oath, pal, it’s to the Constitution of the United States. Not Egypt. Not “the three countries.” Not whatever both-sides word salad you cooked up on the anniversary of the worst attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor.
You don’t get to mourn our dead with one breath and then immediately change the subject to how terrible America is with the next. That’s not nuance. That’s a tell.
Michigan nominated this. The enemy isn’t always kicking the door in. Sometimes he just files the paperwork and asks for a Senate office.@mycrazyone66@professornez@onelife628682
@TheJusticeDept Saw this jeep’s vanity license plate while visiting friends in Anchorage today. I’m surprised that DMV let him get have it, anyway investigate.
@AntiWokeMemes Well, you know that’s just too fucking bad. He’s a Muslim, but he’s the bad kind of Muslim. He’s an Islamic extremist. He’s the one who actually hates Jews and hates America, so fuck you if you can’t take a joke.
@mtgreenee Marjorie, spare us the sudden moral high ground and the “Trump is a narcissist” routine.
Presidents appoint people they trust and who share their agenda.
That’s not a scandal, it’s how the system works under the Constitution. Obama did it. Biden did it with a parade of underqualified DEI checkboxes who couldn’t find their way out of a press briefing without a teleprompter.
Trump is doing the exact same thing, only his picks actually know which way is up. Nothing illegal about it.
You, on the other hand, spent your first term as the walking embodiment of “how not to do the job.” Jewish space lasers, QAnon cosplay, no grasp of procedure, no understanding of parliamentary rules, and a permanent setting of “attack everything that moves.” You learned on the job the hard way.
Second term you got sharper, credit where it’s due. Then Trump declined to hand you a Senate endorsement and suddenly the fighter who never quit… quit. Tail between the legs, “I resign” video and all.
Now you’re out, sore, and deciding the man you spent years calling the greatest president ever is the real problem. Same playbook as Tucker, Shapiro, and the rest of the peanut gallery who never absorbed that “America First” wasn’t a marketing slogan for their personal brand, it was an actual governing plan that requires patience, trade-offs, and not throwing a tantrum the second you don’t get the exact shiny object you wanted.
You’re not exposing a narcissist. You’re demonstrating one. The difference is Trump is still in the arena doing the job. You’re the one who took her ball and went home.

The left loves to scream that “Americans stole the land from the Indians.”
Funny how they skip the part where the British already took it. The 13 colonies were British. They claimed it, settled it, and fought over it long before 1776. When we declared independence, we didn’t steal it from the Indians, we took it from the British.
We fought a war to kick them out and keep the land. Then one president finally ended slavery so Black and white people weren’t owned as property anymore.
Do some actual history before you start blaming modern Americans for what the British Empire already did. Columbus may have found it, but the British conquered and held it. We took it back.
