I wasn’t stealing! Took a personal call while ‘interrogating’ me as well. A manager cleared up the issue eventually but I now feel uncomfortable going back to the shop. Cannot understand how security don’t know about the well-advertised SmartShop / bring own bag system.

@sainsburys can you explain to security guards how SmartShop works when using your own bags? Don’t appreciate being frogmarched to the front of a shop & made to open my bag; guard obv didn’t understand SmartShop, tried to make me pay on the spot & kept asking me how he could know
