Andy Burnham wants to open new North Sea oil fields to lower people's energy bills, as helping accelerate climate change will negate the need for any heating at all
True story. Males were told to refrain from intercourse and to refrain from donating sperm if they participated in the Pfizer trials.

The more denials we get from @neso_energy and @mgshanks the more NESO engineers come forward to blow the whistle
Now a group of them has told the Mail on Sunday: the grid is not secure and a blackout is an "engineering certainty" (yes, Shanks wrongly attributed that claim to yesterday's articles in @thetimes 🙄)
Engineers have told the @DailyMail:
"We the engineers have asked Ofgem to investigate and ensure the system is safe for two years now. That is simply done by asking for proof that Neso can always work out how much energy is required. And they won’t do that and they won’t investigate. So we have told the world.
"June 23 was simply another day. We don’t have control of the system. We have tried our best.
"It’s now over to the public and the regulator. Please help."
They are literally begging the public to make enough fuss that they are finally listened to!
How much louder do the claims need to be before @ofgem and @energygovuk take them seriously?
They also allege that NESO is" re-running the models" to try to make it look as if 23 June was secure when it wasn't

The UK's June heatwave caused a £2.4bn hit to productivity, says a new report
It says the cost of extreme heat could reach £6bn/yr by 2030
Interesting, bc we tend to focus on the cost of cutting emissions, rather than cost of failing to do so…

UK healthy life expectancy FALLS A Lot, WHY??? in 2022-2024 it was 60.7 years for men and 60.9 years for women, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). This was a drop of 1.8 and 2.5 years respectively compared with 2019 to 2021 POOR METABOLIC HEALTH because of junk food is a major contributor https://t.co/nmn1a9sFsh

We knew GBNews is obsessed with immigration. We didn’t know that the obsession extends to the Jews who fled the Nazis in the 1930s - and that we should be wary even of their grandchildren https://t.co/2cR2c1ILS8
@DeborahMeaden What we need is a complete reset.
Gov should level with the public about the climate & nature crisis.
Then launch the wartime-scale action needed, creating huge numbers of jobs retrofitting homes, expanding public transport - and restoring nature.

We’re downplaying stuff that should be banner headlines. We’ve been
trapped into thinking of climate change as ‘woke.’ We – wrongly – think our
readers don’t care. And when we get the hottest May on record we, once
again, miss the real story. https://t.co/FjDk82cjEr
