We must always speak up for what it is right and true, especially in medicine and especially now.
I’m proud to do so, and I will maintain that commitment to each of you regardless of what the future may look like.
As someone that has been through "confined space" training i can say that a confined space isn't necessarily a small one. Gasses heavier than normal atmosphere settle down, so an entire sewer system can be full of unbreathable air.
Halloween memory:
When I was a little girl, my first year of grade school I had a TON of behavioral issues. Now know it was ADHD but also, I was a little shit.
Second grade rolled around. My teacher was Sherry Hyslop. And Mrs. Hyslop, I thought, hung the moon.
12 years ago today I saved my wife’s life by making the choice to end my daughter’s. @arhennrich had a placental abruption and I had to make a split second decision to abort Addison and save Amber. If lawyers would have been needed to be consulted before care was given Amber would be dead and I wouldn’t have Braydon and Brynlee. Proper available reproductive care creates my family. I will do everything I can to make sure that choice is available to all who need it. No one is pro-abortion, but being pro-choice is the true way to be pro-life. #BodilyAutonomy is about allowing patients and their families make decisions with medical providers based on their situation. We must restore Federal protections for all to see their DR without interference. If you agree or disagree please share our story. Being open is the only way we can have a discussion on topics like this.
My flamboyant physician husband was just talking about dominant and recessive genes so I asked him if he thought there was such thing as a gay gene and he said "yeah, but it's dramatic so we call that one *passive* recessive."
Ever wondered what everyday life was like for people living 50, 100, or more years ago..?

As I said earlier today, I'm tired of career politicians like Todd Rokita repeatedly gutting systems and claiming to be a hero when showing up with a bandaid years later.
Let's talk about how Rokita really feels about tenants. A 🧵 (1/)
