The Oyo State Government has just approved the commencement of the contributory pension scheme for the newly employed civil and public servants employed from 2025 downward in Oyo State.

Which means the government will be paying 12% and the workers will be deducted 8% from their salary but this scheme has caused a lot of controversies from some of the workers involved as they're are demanding that the government should go back to their old pension scheme.

The said workers involved urge the Governor of Oyo State, Eng. Seyi Makinde not to dance to the tunes of those who initiated the scheme as they're doing so for their own benefits.
