Because lots of people focus on the scoring, people miss how good of a game Nickel had. He played great unselfish winning basketball. Was a good decoy, created space, moved well, smart and hustling defense, passing.
Before yesterday's game, I said Tyler Nickel had been the only bright spot for the Knicks' Summer League team so far (which he had been), but I was also excited to see our other second round pick Jack Kayil get another opportunity to showcase his talent... and he didn't disappoint.
With Mo Diawara and Pacome Dadiet both out, Kayil had the ball in his hands much more and he took full advantage. He looked poised, comfortable, and in complete control of the game.
I was really impressed with his 19 points, three triples, and three steals in yesterday's win.
I also have to give some love to Dillon Jones (18 points) and Liam Robbins (15 points, four blocks), who both had strong performances.
The Knicks are back in action Thursday against Golden State.
This not true. Food prices, especially when on sale, have dropped significantly from last year. I live in high cost area.
On sale Biden era inflation:
Eggs $5
Peaches $2lb
Chicken breast $4/lb
On sale this year:
Eggs $2
Peaches $0.99/lb
Chicken breast $2/lb
And I could go on.
Serious question for people who understand economics.
If inflation is only around 3.5%, why does it feel like food costs 2x, rent is through the roof, and everyday life is way more expensive than a few years ago?
What exactly is the inflation number measuring? Feels like regular people are living in a completely different reality.
Why is it that people like this can't ever be honest, truthful and use candor?
Disgusting.
There is a formal law that Governor, who voters elected, gets to choose temporary person.
Kamala was not elected nor chosen by elected representatives.
Deliberate false equivalence.
republicans in 2024: “kamala can’t just take joe biden’s place in the election. nobody voted for her. that’s not democracy.”
republicans now: “it’s totally fine that lindsey graham’s sister is taking his place.”
Bruh you can't generalize any system to feudalism just because of organized operations of societal productivity.
In your definition, the only way not to have slaves/peasants/serfs is to not have any kind of large scale economy or production.
All things must be worked for!
Capitalism isn’t much different from feudalism. We still have landlords, kings and nobles are now called corporate executives and peasants have been repurposed as wage slaves.
More communistic BS
7% of 650B is 45B
Average household with$100K income would have an effective rate of 17% on high side. That is $17K.
You would need 2.7 million households to equal same tax revenue. Actual average is less than $100K so actually would need >3 million people.
One of the world’s biggest corporations pulled in more than $650 billion in revenue last year.
Its effective federal tax rate hovered around 7%.
Meanwhile, a grocery clerk earning about $17 an hour can easily face an effective tax burden closer to 20%.
Think about that.
A worker stocking shelves may hand over a larger share of their income than a company generating hundreds of billions in sales.
People call it a broken tax system.
Maybe it’s doing exactly what it was designed to do just not for ordinary Americans.
This is so stupid and dishonest, evil. Making people believe something unfair is going on, when it is exactly a fair system.
If your income goes beyond the maximum deduction which is justified by the maximum benefit, it naturally becomes smaller as a percentage of your income.
Murray: Is it true that people making under $184,000 pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate?
Dahl: Yes
Murray: And the rate for someone making $1,000,000?
Dahl: 2.2%
Murray: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184,000, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.
This graphic is good but should be updated to reflect "America" which only started post 1776. Before that it was colonial territories under Britain, France, Spain and the Dutch.
Less than 40 years in "America" before heavy opposition led to Civil War. The railroad started 1780s
Dishonest people like you always take things out of context to create a false talking point knowing most people are too lazy to go look at the whole conversation in context.
There was so much fraud only small amount relative to entire vote needed to be corrected to show winner.
July 4th 2026, people stuck in the past of when you were just born and what you did and mistakes you made when you were young, even though you are far from that person anymore. People still hate you like it's 250 years ago. Fuck them. Keep yo head up America.
This is so preposterously wrong with a strong anti-american bias, picking elements out of context to support a hateful premise.
Using this methodology, there is still no better country than the United States of America.
A reminder: the largely admirable nation the "Founding Fathers" announced 250 years ago denied the vote to all women, most minorities, many poor whites. It enabled slavery, forbade laws to curb it

BOOMER: "Just buy a house. Stop renting and build equity."

BOOMER: "So get a mortgage."

BOOMER: "I bought my first house with $5,000 down."

BOOMER: "$60,000."

BOOMER: "Well your salary should be higher."

ME: "Everything in my area costs $400,000+."
BOOMER: "You should move somewhere cheaper."

BOOMER: "It's about discipline and sacrifice."

BOOMER: *silent*
You didn't buy a house because you were smarter. You bought it because it was actually affordable.
Ignorant gonna ignorant.
Jesus was part of God, but made into flesh. As a physical being on earth, Satan assumed he was corruptible. Although his body felt pain, he ate and slept and drank, his spirit was divine.
Also, you presuppose that Satan is all-knowing. False premise.
According to the author of Matthew, Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world if Jesus would bow down to him.
But if Jesus is God…as Christian doctrine teaches…then Satan would already know that Jesus is the creator and rightful owner of everything. So what exactly is Satan offering him?
It’s like a gateman promising to give the owner of the house the very property the owner already possesses, on the condition that the owner bows to him. The offer makes no sense if Satan knows who Jesus really is. … this is what happens when you make up stupid stories.
You, fake patriot, are exactly what he is talking about.
Democrats are so hateful and anti-american, anti-Trump that they cannot set aside their hate to celebrate our great nation on its 250th anniversary.
RINOs as well.
Imagine not being able to stop attacking other Americans for even one day to celebrate America’s 250th
The worst president in American history. By far.
If you swapped Pippen for LeBron on any of those Bulls championship teams would they get better? No. Win more rings? No.
If you replaced Wade with Jordan would the Heat have been better? Yes. Win more rings? Yes.
End of story.
Goodbye.
Under Quran, if Christians and Jews that do not submit and believe in Allah as prophesied by Mohammed, then they are infidels. All verses that apply to non-worshippers apply. By their scripture, they cannot submit or follow Allah or the Quran.
What does Quran say of infidels?
I dare any non Muslim to show me a single verse in the Quran that commands Muslims to hate every Christian and every Jew.
Not your opinion.
The actual verse.
If you can't, maybe it's time to stop blaming the Quran for what some Muslims do.
Only vile DISHONEST communistic people with envious hearts would characterize earned contracts with ingenuity and sweat to deliver products and services as "welfare".
But giving welfare to the lazy and grifting is a "human right".
Said like a true ignoramus who doesn't know how the people that make it happen are the key to productive success.
Your smug hate shows you know nothing about galvanizing and guiding resources for a productive purpose, let alone making that output successful.
