🔍 Scout Report – Miguel Chaiwa | Hibernian FC
Miguel Chaiwa has been a bright spark in a rollercoaster of a season for Hibs. The Zambian international has been subject to transfer speculation of late, with Celtic and European clubs reportedly keen.
Here's why 🧵👇 (1/8)
There are 19 Scottish Premiership players who will represent their country at the 2026 World Cup.
I'll be keeping a close eye on them all throughout the campaign 🏆
Seems harsh on Lennon Miller who was probably unlucky to be left out the squad in the first place, having played 1000 mins in the Serie A this season.
Saying that, Fletcher looks very promising in his own right with a bright future ahead of him. This just seems premature.
Following the news of Billy Gilmour's injury we can confirm that 19-year-old Tyler Fletcher has been added to our @FIFAWorldCup squad after making his debut against Curaçao yesterday.
Welcome aboard, Tyler 🛫 🇺🇸
🏴 vs 🇨🇼 | Opposition Analysis: Curaçao
With Scotland welcoming Dick Advocaat’s Curaçao side in their penultimate friendly before the World Cup, I’ve taken a deep dive into what The Blue Wave, ranked 82nd, will bring to Hampden 👇
Summary
The expectation is that the Curaçao side that faces Scotland will be more disciplined and more structured than how they set up during qualification.
Should they play more aggressively, as they have done in the past and leave gaps either in behind or between the lines, the quality of Scotland will punish them – just as Australia did in a 5-1 defeat in March.
Scotland need to be switched on and aware of Curaçao’s pace on the counter, as they can catch teams off guard with their directness. Scotland’s full backs will be key in build-up play to drag Curaçao wingers out, disrupting their structure and letting Scotland have control of the game.
Overall, Scotland should have too much firepower across the 90 minutes but Curaçao do have their threats and act as perfect preparation for Scotland’s opening Group C game against Haiti.

Key Players
Juninho Bacuna – the younger of the Bacuna brothers sits as the more advanced creative midfielder. Created more chances than any other Curaçao player in WC qualification (23).
Kenji Gorré - technical and quick right footed left winger who can cause full backs problems by varying when he hits the byline or cuts inside. 6 goal contributions in WC qualification (3G, 3A) - more than any of his teammates.
Struggled with this myself tbh.
Sofascore is my go-to for larger data sets, each league has its own stats tab that shows you 20 players across a chosen 6 metrics. Bit of a pain to extract it if wanting to create your own viz but fine considering it’s public data.
Youtube, Footballia, and FootballOrigin best I could find for watching games.
Obviously his goals will be sorely missed but Shankland's intelligence, work-rate, and leadership are all just as crucial a loss to Hearts, and arguably harder to replace.
A busy Summer for Jamestown Analytics ahead, time to prove its worth!
🚨🏴 Rangers have agreed deal to sign Lawrence Shankland from Hearts, here we go!
Paperwork now signed and Shankland set to be announced as new Rangers player. 💙🤍
Heart of Midlothian | Attacking Set Piece Analysis
The Jambo’s incredible season saw them push Celtic to the final day for the Scottish title
24 league goals scored from Set Pieces | 18 of which came from Corners!
What made them so effective?

🏴 I don't think I quite appreciated how good Ross Stewart's numbers have been this season despite the limited gametime.
Obviously McBurnie has had an excellent season and played about 2,000 minutes more but when Stewart is on the pitch, he delivers.
