हरेला उत्तराखंड का एक प्रमुख लोकपर्व है, जो खासकर कुमाऊं क्षेत्र में बड़े हर्षोल्लास से मनाया जाता है। यह पर्व सावन महीने की शुरुआत में मनाया जाता है और खेती-बाड़ी, हरियाली और प्रकृति के संरक्षण से जुड़ा होता है। हरेला का अर्थ होता है “हरियाली” और यह पर्व वर्षा ऋतु के आगमन का प्रतीक है।

इस दिन लोग घरों में गेहूं, जौ, मक्का आदि के बीज बोते हैं, जो नौ दिन में अंकुरित होकर “हरेला” बनते हैं। दसवें दिन इन हरेले को काटकर सिर पर रखा जाता है और घर के बड़े बुजुर्ग आशीर्वाद देते हैं।

हरेला न सिर्फ एक धार्मिक और सांस्कृतिक परंपरा है, बल्कि यह पर्यावरण संरक्षण और वृक्षारोपण के प्रति जागरूकता का भी प्रतीक है। इस दिन लोग पौधे लगाते हैं और धरती को हरा-भरा रखने का संकल्प लेते हैं। यह पर्व हमें सिखाता है कि अगर प्रकृति स्वस्थ है, तभी हमारा जीवन भी स्वस्थ और खुशहाल रहेगा।

हरेले पर्व की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं, प्रकृति के आशीर्वाद से आप सभी का जीवन सदा हरा-भरा और खुशहाल बना रहे।🍀

When a man is accused, society screams before facts.

But when a woman is seen abusing a child, suddenly people search for excuses, trauma, stress and sympathy.

Enough.

Motherhood is not a licence to torture.
A woman is not above accountability.
A child’s pain is not less because the abuser is female.
Someone must step in, protect that child, and ensure strict legal action.
Abuse is abuse.
